INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY

21st June is celebrated as the INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY all over the world. This idea was proposed by our Prime Minister, Mr.Narendra Modi.

This year due to the widespread pandemic, large gatherings were not possible and also not allowed. Covid – 19 was already taking a huge toll on us but we decided to celebrate yoga day virtually.

Our school held a virtual yoga session for Grade I to IV. Mr.Srinivas Bilar , sir, gave all the necessary instructions and demonstrated various Asanas.

The school authorities helped us understand the importance of yoga in daily life. Yoga plays a significant role since it helps people lead a better life with elevated physical, mental and spiritual health. It also helps in maintaining physical fitness. Yoga helps people increase flexibility.

Teachers encourage Students to practice yoga Regularly to stay fit.Regular practice of yoga will surely help our students achieve a better life, physically, mentally and spiritually as well.

Thank you.

Green Day Celebration

Green – The colour of Prosperity and Harmony

Green Day was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm in the Online Pre Primary section on 15th July, 2021. The Nursery, Jr.Kg & Sr.Kg students and teachers attended Online class dressed in pretty green attires and looked eco friendly. Activities pertaining to green colour were organised for the kids. Kids were told to keep green vegetables ready. Vegetable printing was done in an online class. Teachers were instructing students & students were following the same.
The shades of green filled the air with freshness, thrill, ecstasy and bliss. It also
prompted them to think how the colour green energizes and revitalizes our lives.

International Yoga Day

The word ‘Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj’, meaning ‘to join’ or ‘to yoke’ or ‘to unite’. As per Yogic scriptures the practice of Yoga leads to the union of individual consciousness with that of the Universal Consciousness, indicating a perfect harmony between the mind and body, Man & Nature. We started celebrating ‘International Yoga Day’ from 21st June 2015. This is been started by Mr. Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of India.
We celebrate ‘International Yoga Day’ every year in our school. As due to this pandemic situation we are running our school through online platform i.e Zoom. HM gave instructions how to celebrate it through online class on 22nd of June. It was a quite new experience for all of us.
Our P.T teacher Mr. Shrinivas Bilar explained the importance of Yoga to our little champs and also he performed Yogasan which was imitated by the students and performed after sir.
In this modern generation yoga is useful to keep ourselves healthy and also to live a peaceful life.
